‘蛇种论’(doctrine of the "serpent's seed")到底讲些什么？圣经依据在哪里？

‘有耳愿听’的请参考，分辩，思考，祷告。

‘蛇种论’的关键是‘是否合乎圣经’。这是我们目前唯一要分辨的。是，就是

我相信很多弟兄姐妹都已经有分辨能力。我们并不需要花过多的时间在这上面。

According to Branham, Eve was seduced into a sexual relationship with the serpent and became pregnant with Cain. He explained, "Here is what actually happened in the Garden of Eden. The Word says that Eve was beguiled by the serpent. She was actually seduced by the serpent. He was as close to being a human that his seed could, and did mingle with that of the woman and cause her to conceive" (The Original Sin, pp. 2, 3). The serpent's seed was Cain and all his descendants. They are predestined for Hell. The Godly seed is Seth and his descendants who have been revealed by their call to Branham's ministry. BIBLICAL RESPONSE
The Serpent's Seed doctrine is an improper interpretation of Genesis 3 that is allegorical and arbitrary. Eve's sin was not sexual. She partook of literal fruit from a literal tree. Adam also partook of the same fruit as Eve (Genesis 3:6). This is not a reference to sexual sin. The Serpent's Seed doctrine artificially limits the atonement by race or genetics. While it is true that most of humanity will not benefit from the sacrificial death of Christ (Matthew 7:13-14), Jesus died for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2). Christ's atonement is not limited to a certain family or race of people.

The Serpent's Seed doctrine did not originate with Branham. Branham's version of the doctrine parallels the racist views of some groups within the Identity movement and the speculative philosophies of Sun Myung Moon.（文鲜明的统一教）

Serpent's Seed Serpent's Seed teaching

Branham taught that Eve's sin in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3) was sexual sin. Since THREE sons were born from TWO acts of Adam, You know POSITIVELY that ONE of those three WAS NOT the son of Adam - - - The truth of the matter is that eve had two sons in her womb TWO sons (twins) from separate impregnation's. She was carrying twins, with Cain's conception sometime previous to that of Abel's." (W. M. Branham, An Exposition of The Seven Church Ages, pp. 98, 100-101).

William Branham said that Eve's sin involved sexual relations with the serpent, but the "seed of God" were Branham's followers, otherwise known as "the Bride" or "the New Breed" (The Toronto Blessing, Stephen Sizer, 1990).

The serpent's seed was Cain and all his descendants. They are predestined for Hell. The Godly seed is Seth and his descendants who have been revealed by their call to Branham's ministry. A third group, represented by those still in denominational churches have freewill to choose Heaven or Hell. The Godly seed are the Bride of Christ and will be raptured before Tribulation. Denominations are or eventually will be the Mark of the Beast and those who remain therein will go through the Tribulation. (Dictionary of Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements, p. 96).

"Eve’s eating was adultery with the serpent, Proverbs 30:20. Remember, he was not a snake at this point. That curse came after the act. ... It was not an apple that caused Adam and Eve to realize they were naked. But it was a sex act. ... The serpent was an upright handsome creature. He was, in fact, `the missing link’ that science even in their unspiritual wisdom, can see is missing `between man and monkey.’ ... Satan used this creature to get himself into the Human race." (Was it an Apple? (Lima, Oh: Bible Believers of Lima).

The Bible says, "Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord. (Ge.4:1) He did not say I have gotten a man from Satan, who would know Adam or Branham?

The serpent seed doctrine came out of the perverted Jewish Kabbalah and the Babylonian Talmud. Was Branham a god, a junior elohim, a malaki, a spirit being manifested, an avatar, a magician using the name of Jesus for his miracles? Did Branham claim to be God or an angel manifested? Many believe he was a god. Some believe he was an angel manifest on par with Michael and Gabriel. They use the word "angel" to mean more than a man, a spirit being incarnated.

Some of his followers made him Jesus Christ manifest again, they baptized in his name for the remission of sins. In the autobiography, "Footsteps In The Sand Of Time," Branham claims Moses and Elijah were manifestations of God. He challenges his followers to look at him and see if they do not see the same God manifested again and he was not refering to a move of the Spirit upon his life, but a real incarnation. After his untimely and sad death, many went to his grave and held vigils expecting him to self-resurrect himself and prove to the world he was God.

What about the serpent seed doctrine (a rebuttal soon to be published at this site)? This doctrine comes to us via Jewish mysticism and a reinterpretation of the fall of Adam and Eve embodied in Babylonian, Jewish, and other branches of gnosticsm. The sexual orgies of the mystery cults reenacted the serpent seed interpretation ad part of their rites and rituals that were started by Nimrod and his sister/wife Semiramas. The serpent seed doctrine is not a revelation of God. It is an old corruption and reinterpretation that was used in the Baal religion in the Old Testament.

A tape recording of the serpent seed doctrine that was made prior or subsequent to Branham coming out with it, and possibly the message that converted him to the doctrine, is in my possession. In it, the white races are the good seed and the negro and mingled races are the serpent's seed.

Many Jews interpreted the serpent seed to be the Gentiles in their Talmud. The doctrine comes from Babylonian gnosticism and the Jewish adoption of the sexual reinterpretation of the fall they wrote afterward into the Kabbalah and their Talmud. This doctrine is the basis of Jewish gnosticism and is incorporated into all branches of Judaism today that rejects Jesus as the Messiah. It is a false doctrine through and through.

Clearly, William Branham was a mystic and not an Apostolic. He did not preach the Apostles' Doctrine.

The Serpent's Seed

In spite of his apparent humility and consecration, Branham had great difficulty controlling a strident, hateful attitude toward women. In his own poor English, transcribed from a sermon, Branham stated, "But I remember when my father's still up there running, I had to be out there with water and stuff, see young ladies that wasn't over seventeen, eighteen years, up there with a man my age now, drunk. And they'd have to sober them up and give them black coffee, to get them home to cook their husband's supper. Oh, something like that, I said, 'I...This was my remarked [sic] then, THEY'RE NOT WORTH A GOOD CLEAN BULLET TO KILL THEM WITH IT.' That's right. And I hated women. That's right. And I just have to watch every move now, to keep from still thinking the same thing." 25

This attitude toward women may have played a part in the development of Branham's bizarre "Serpent Seed" teaching. This was based on a twisted interpretation of Genesis 3:13, where Eve is recorded as saying, "The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat." The word "beguiled" Branham defined as "seduced sexually." He claimed that Satan and Eve engaged in an adulterous affair out of which Cain was born. Since that time evil has passed from generation to generation through women, who keep the seed of the serpent alive. 26 He seemed to think that women are responsible for the evil in the world because of their enticements.

The "Serpent's Seed" teaching obviously indicated that Branham didn't take the Scriptures literally, where we read, "And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived and bare Cain..." (Genesis 4:1).

His animosity toward women led to the preaching of a rigid moral code that lambasted them on their manner of dress, and may have been responsible for his "revelation" that allowed for divorce.27

The "serpent seed theory" is but a small part of the whole skyscraper of heretic contents in WB's teachings.

对“蛇种论”的一个质疑

“蛇种论”是说古蛇与夏娃生了该隐，其论据很长，见楼下贴。
我对此有个质疑：

创世记中神对始祖堕落的审判可分两部份：一是肉体行为的审判，
二是灵魂意义上的审判。

肉体行为的审判就是夏娃与亚当吃了善恶树上的果子，这在创世
纪中写的很明白。在行为上并没有对任何淫乱有记载，也没有审判
任何行为的淫乱。

灵魂意义上的审判就是在属灵上撒旦(罪)进入了世界。实际上
撒旦(罪)进入世界并不一定需要从肉体引入，有人被鬼附，撒旦
进入卖主的尤大的心都不是通过肉体引入的。

所以“蛇种论”似乎是一个牵强的解释。

想不到OD这么快又回来了.好象他说不来这里不下
五六次了.可惜和他辩论的帖都留学校了.只好重新
来过.

为什么我不称呼Od为弟兄.原因很简单.他的信仰
和改革宗因信成义,人人祭司,唯独圣经不合.

简单的说问题出在蛇种论上.人被分成撒但的后代和
神的后代.撒但的后代不能得救是肯定的.圣经说天使
堕落神都不救拔.别说堕落天使的后代了.

因此wb的教导是血统得救论.实际世人通婚,血统混杂.
人都有该隐后代的成份.纯种赛特后代到什么地方寻找.
基督的救恩是给外邦人的.这白白的普世救恩wb降成以
血统为条件的得救.离开基督的意思十万八千里.

剩下孵化论.意思无非是基督没有人的血统.神和人不同.
奇怪的是人是神的儿女反而有撒但的血统.神却不能有
人的成份.看来人的品种接近魔鬼而不接近神.

其实算一下时间就知道夏娃根本没有时间和魔鬼通奸.
神说亚当吃善恶果的时日必死.神国一日如千年.亚当
活了九百三十岁.因此他在伊甸园那日不过神国的十分
钟.还包括了神了以叶为衣服,神的寻找,审问,给他们
作皮衣服.应不少于五分钟.夏娃和撒担谈话,上树也不
少于两分钟.找到亚当劝他同吃也需要几分钟.

WB的文章声称夏娃上午和撒但做爱.下午和亚当作爱.
根本不合圣经记载.鉴于这是wb声称一个灵的教导.
我只能认为这是作假见证的灵.符合撒但的名称.故此
不认为od是弟兄.他们错谬的道理还很多.一时难以列
举.也偷个懒不引用wb原文了.

　　你会喜欢一只爬虫吗？

　　蛇的样子是怎麽样？有人会喜欢一条有脚的蛇吗？

如此类推，那麽现今的世代，每个人都会跟动物有染，现代人
的智慧和良善绝对比不上未犯罪以前的亚当夏娃。

　　弟兄，要小心，亚当夏娃是照上帝的形象被造的，这二人
有神的良善，圣洁，你说夏娃跟蛇有关系，就是亵渎上帝。
